When you select a service provider, you will pay a provision as well as the Pwiic protection fees directly through the platform. These amounts are blocked until the service is completed. You will only release the provision when the service is completed to your satisfaction.
Concretely, the service provider may request to release the provision, for example, to purchase necessary materials or when the service is finished. You will then receive a notification to accept the release request and confirm that the service has been executed. Once the provision is released, the amount is transferred to the provider.
In case of cancellation
If you need to cancel the service, you can request a refund, and the provision will be refunded to the bank card used for payment, provided the provider accepts the cancellation. This is likely the case if the service has not yet started or if the reason for the cancellation is valid (for example, if the provider cannot meet the agreed deadlines). If the provider cancels, they must offer you a refund, but you can refuse it and request that they carry out the service. If no agreement is reached, the Pwiic team will intervene and make a decision based on the information provided.
In case of a dispute
If a problem arises, the provision remains blocked until the dispute is resolved. The Pwiic protection fees are non-refundable as they cover the costs related to handling disputes. Pwiic acts as a mediator to help you find a solution. If no compromise is reached within 10 days, Pwiic will make a decision based on the evidence provided by both parties.
