Once the service requester accepts your offer, a provision is paid and blocked on the platform. This provision guarantees that you will receive your payment once the service is completed.
After you finish the service, you will need to request the release of the provision via the platform by specifying the reason (e.g., the completion of the service). The service requester will then validate the request, and the funds will immediately become available in your Pwiic wallet. You can then transfer the money to your bank account.
Early release of the provision
It is possible to negotiate the early release of part of the provision if you need to purchase materials for the service. This can be discussed directly via the DIALOG chat with the service requester, allowing for an earlier release of the funds to cover these expenses.
Withdrawal and fees
When withdrawing your earnings from your Pwiic wallet, fees may apply. For example, Stripe charges approximately 2 euros per withdrawal, plus 0.25% of the amount. However, you have the option to group your withdrawals to reduce these costs. These fees are charged at market rate, and Pwiic does not profit from this amount.
Tax obligations
Depending on local regulations, a tax withholding may apply to your earnings. For example, in Belgium, for individual service providers, there is a legal withholding tax of 10.7% on income from collaborative economy platforms. This withholding helps you avoid additional taxes at the end of the year. When withdrawing funds via your Pwiic wallet, you must specify which part of the amount corresponds to the service provided and which part corresponds to the reimbursement of expenses (travel expenses, materials, etc.). The reimbursement of expenses is not subject to taxation.
