1. Receiving a Pwiic
As a service provider, you receive Pwiic requests that match your skills and geographical location, which you have set in your profile. You can view these requests directly on your dashboard.
2. Using the DIALOG chat
Before accepting an offer or making a price proposal, you can chat with the service requester using our integrated DIALOG system. This allows you to ask any necessary questions, clarify service details, and understand the client’s expectations.
3. Submitting your offer
Once you have enough information, you can submit your service offer directly via the platform. The price you quote in your offer goes entirely to you, as Pwiic does not take any commission. However, certain tax deductions may apply depending on the regulations in your country. For instance, in Belgium, for individuals, a tax deduction of 10.7% is applied under the collaborative economy legislation. This deduction ensures that you won’t have additional taxes at the end of the year.
The Pwiic protection fees are added to your offer and are covered by the requester.
4. Offer acceptance
Once the service requester accepts your offer, they will pay a provision and the Pwiic protection fees before the service starts. This provision is blocked on the platform until you request its release (for example, after completing the service or if you need an advance to purchase materials).
5. Service delivery
After the offer is accepted and the provision is paid, you can begin delivering the service as agreed with the service requester.
6. Release of the provision and payment
Once the service is completed, you request the release of the provision. The requester has 3 days to report any issues; otherwise, the provision will be released, and you can withdraw your payment via your Pwiic wallet.
Note that the release of the provision generally occurs at the end of the service, but if you have expenses or if the service is of longer duration, you can request a partial release of the provision either before the service starts or during the service.
